Web 2.0 Expo 2011 – Security and the Future of the Cloud
Another fine series of workshops, exhibits and keynotes has come and gone and the Web 2.0 2011 Conference appears to be considered a successful event again.
One of my professional colleagues, Denoid Tucker, who is the Vice President of Engineering at StrataScale, was interviewed at the Web 2.0 2011 Conference. Denoid talked about the variations between what I like to call the “3 aaSes” – IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, the benefits of public cloud hosting and what he sees is the future of the cloud.
Check out the video. Would love to hear your opinion on these topics.

Along with that 5 minute Q&A session above, Denoid was one of the featured speakers at Web 2.0 2011 and got very granular into addressing security concerns in the cloud. A number of organizations are apprehensive about migrating to or simply including cloud-based solutions into their overall IT operation practice. Why? Because service providers aren’t effectively communicating to businesses.
That being the case – listen as Denoid does just that…communicate to the business community.
