DBA (Doing Business As) Program: Helping New Companies Be Heard
James Hicks | On 16, Mar 2012

We at HicksNewMedia want to provide a forum/portal/platform for teams and companies to showcase their new product or service.
IDEA
Consider this a “reverse-engineered, crowd-sourced” environment primarily focused on early,mid-staged startups.
It doesn’t matter what market industry you’re in; tech, consumer, business process, whatever – we want your submission.
PROCESS
- Create a video (less than 5 minutes)- Provide a bio/description of your product/service and company/team and email us a link to the video (send it to info@thetechscoop.net)
- Your contact information (social media profiles, email, webpage, etc.)
or, if you don’t want to do a video – simply submit the following (5) questions and we’ll take it from there:

VALUE (WIFM)
The value and “what’s in it for me (you)” is multi-fold. You’ll get a representative from HicksNewMedia that is focused on ensuring that your message gets high quality sharing and representation across our multiple social media platforms (LinkedIN, Google+, Facebook, Twitter, pinboards on Pinterest, etc.) We’ll be promoting your team/organization for a full week.
We’ll do our very best to make your message gets on somebody’s radar.
We also have a hand picked team of incredibly knowledgeable and connected Influential Advisors that will be providing their expert-level feedback, insight and analysis. As a startup organization you have to acknowledge, that ANYTIME you can get quality feedback and interaction is a good thing.
I know it can be challenging sometimes to get in front of the big brands in the digital publishing industry, and I’ve seen too many times where good companies don’t even get looked at or reported in those big brands. Not speaking negative about them, because I respect what they do and know many individuals at nearly all large digital publishing houses – they’re just too busy, and focused on the big story and sometimes, the new up-and-comer doesn’t get the proper representation.
We want to change that and give EVERYONE who wants a voice, an opportunity to be heard.
Let’s do some big things.
To your success!
