Digital signage is nothing new, however it is new on college campuses. Colleges everywhere are taking notice of how efficient digital signage can be and integrating it into their campuses.

Dynamic digital displays are great for keeping students and faculty educated, informed and entertained. Many campuses are using them in various buildings. For example in the dorms they might use digital signage for community info such as weather or important alerts and updates. In the dining hall digital signage is used as a digital menu board so it can be updated quickly and easy to read.

Another great use for digital signage on campus is emergency notifications. There is nothing worse than an emergency on campus and having thousands of people unaware or unsure how to proceed. Digital signage can convey information quickly and be seen by many people at any given moment.

Check out the infographic below presented by Digital Signage Today to learn more about how campuses are using digital signage.
